What should I expect when I visit Bethel?
At Bethel you will find a large diversity of people of all ages and all walks of life. You can expect warm, friendly greetings from our members. We will meet you at the door and offer you a bulletin with an outline of that day’s service, a list of events, and a note page for the sermon. Our service typically begins with music followed by prayer and an offering. We encourage our members and regular attenders to give, but as a guest, there is no need for you to give. Pastor Don’s message is next followed by an invitation and closing prayer.
What kind of music is there?
As the service begins, our worship team will lead us in songs, both contemporary and traditional.
What kind of preaching is there?
Pastor Don’s messages are always Bible-based. We believe the Bible is God’s precious Word and it is our highest authority. Past messages are available on our website. Click here to listen to Pastor’s Sermons
How long is the service?
Our service begins at 10:30 am and usually ends around 11:45am. Sunday School is offered before the service from 9:30-10:20am.
What should I wear?
We care about you, not your clothes, and welcome everyone to Bethel. We have a loving, informal atmosphere – you will find many of our members in jeans but also some in dresses and suits.
What is there for my children?
Sunday School is available at 9:30 am for children and youth 3 years old to 12th grade.
Our nursery is available for children up to 3 years old. You may drop your child off shortly before the service or anytime during, as you feel comfortable.
About 20 minutes into our service, older children up to 10 years old are dismissed to their classes.
Little Christians has an age-appropriate teachings and activities for 3-5 year olds.
Our Junior Church uses curriculum to help children 6-10 years old build a solid foundation and relationship with God.
What happens after the service?
We always have snacks and beverages available after the service. We invite you to fellowship with us and stop by the Welcome Center to receive a special visitor gift. More information on Bethel can be found there also.
What do I do if I need prayer?
Deacons are available before and after the service and would love to pray with you concerning any need you may have. You may also write down your needs on the Prayer Request cards which are available in the back of the chairs. Place the card in the offering to allow Pastor Don to pray for you during the service or return it to the church office to be added to our prayer list. You can also Request Prayer Online.
