Core Values:

We believe the Bible is our sole authority. We recognize the Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God and it is the standard and guide by which we live our lives. Psalm 119:105 – Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

We believe the only means of salvation is through a personal belief, the repentance of sin, and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for our sins.

We believe that prayer is our lifeline to God. It is our means of maintaining a vital relationship that gives wisdom and power to live an effective Christian life.

We believe that commitment and discipleship should be the goal of every believer as a means to show our love and commitment to Jesus Christ. We want to seek personal spiritual maturity and we seek to encourage the spiritual maturity of others in the body of Christ.

Our church accepts the doctrinal statement and articles of faith as stated in the “Baptist Faith and Message” adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention.

We believe baptism is an outward expression of our commitment to Jesus Christ. We enter into believer’s baptism by immersion following a personal trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives. – Romans 6:3-5

Immersion is a symbolic picture of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Our members have publicly made a personal commitment of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, have followed Jesus in believer’s baptism by immersion, and are committed to the beliefs, values, goals and covenant of this church body.

At Bethel we believe that God has commanded us to give back to Him a tithe out of all that He gives us. We are encouraged to be good stewards with what God has blessed us with.
